Prisoners get free healthcare and I cant get anything

On this day on the eve of the US Supreme court's landmark decision on Obamacare I would like to bring to attention the biggest inequity I feel exists in our county as it affects me. Presently, I have no healthcare insurance since the premium is way beyond my budget can afford. I have a health issue now which a healthcare plan would deem a 'pre-existing condition'.  So even if a healthcare plan was affordable to me I am certain the insurance plan would disqualify me based on this pre-existing condition. The dilemma is that if I were an incarcerated felon -possibly even on death row- my condition would be treated and the whole tab would go to the taxpayers. From a moral point of view how is this fair to any USA citizen that pays taxes or has paid taxes in the past and can't have a necessary surgery performed?
